Bridgit DaSilva joined the Dartmouth High School Administrative Team in September of 2017. Mrs. DaSilva holds a CAGS degree in Counseling from Bridgewater State University where she also earned her Master's Degree in School Counseling as well as her Bachelors Degree in Social Work. Mrs. DaSilva's experience working in education has included working as a guidance counselor, Director of Guidance, Dean of Students and now her current position of Director of High School Counseling & Support Services.

Kim Peach joined the Dartmouth Counseling Department in 2004. Kim graduated from Lasell University with a major in Retail Mgmt. After working for Bloomingdales and Coopers & Lybrand she moved with her family back to Dartmouth from the North Shore and started work at Dartmouth High School. Kim loves spending her free time with her family and friends and her two dogs-Marley and Piper.

Erica Thibodeau joined the DHS School Counseling Department in 2024 after teaching for 19 years. She graduated from Worcester State College with a BA in Spanish and a minor in Secondary Education. After, she got her Masters in Education from Salem State University. In 2023, she finished her Masters in School Counseling from Cambridge College. She spends her free time on the sidelines cheering for her children and enjoys crocheting and long distance running.

Melissa Fitzgerald joined the Dartmouth Counseling Department in 2014. She earned her BA in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice and a Minor in African American Studies from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and her M.ed in Higher Education from Bridgewater State University. Miss Fitzgerald is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and is also licensed by the MA DESE as a Guidance Counselor and School Adjustment Counselor/Social Worker. Miss Fitzgerald received an Outstanding Educator Award and Salute to Service Award from the United States Air Force.

Ms. Heath has been a School Counselor with Dartmouth High School since 2011. She earned her BA at UMASS Boston in Anthropology, her M.Ed at Bridgewater State, and is a Nationally Certified Counselor. She spends her free time outside, usually hiking or camping throughout the country! Ms. Heath loves working with high school students and is proud to be a member of the DHS Counseling Team.

Cassie Levesque joined the guidance department of Dartmouth High School in 2023, bringing over 11.5 years of experience in the mental health field and 3 years’ experience in Wraparound services with New Bedford Schools. As a licensed DESE counselor and a graduate of Bridgewater State University, Cassie is dedicated to supporting students as they set and pursue their high school goals and explore a variety of post- secondary pathways offering guidance tailored to each students’ aspirations. Cassie has a commitment to helping students build confidence in their abilities and empowering them to achieve their goals. Her connection to the Dartmouth community inspires her to provide compassionate and effective counseling services that empower student to thrive. Outside of work, Cassie enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, going to the beach and being with family.

Mrs. (Fontes) Callahan joined Dartmouth Public Schools in November of 2015. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Salve Regina University, and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Bridgewater State University. She is licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker for the state of Massachusetts. Mrs. Callahan loves spending her free time hiking with her family and reading to her daughter.

Amy Gleicher is excited to be joining the DHS team in 2021 as a School Social Worker. Mrs. Gleicher holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Bridgewater State College and a Master of Social Work with a focus on Children, Youth and Families from Boston College. She is licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker for the state of Massachusetts. In her free time, she loves to listen to podcasts and read as well as spend time outdoors with her family doing things like kayaking and walking the beach in search of sea glass.

Catherine Thomas is one of the School Social Workers at Dartmouth High. Mrs. Thomas began working in the Dartmouth Public School System in September of 2000 and moved to Dartmouth High in August of 2003. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Bridgewater State University and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University. Mrs. Thomas is not only a member of the Dartmouth Counseling Department, but she is also the mother of three Dartmouth High Grads. Mrs. Thomas loves being outdoors, especially by the ocean in the summer, and spending time with her family.

Laura Long joined the Dartmouth Counseling Department in 2021. Mrs. Long holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst, a Master's Degree in Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth, a Master's Degree in Counseling, and a Certificate of Advance Graduate Studies in School Psychology from Rhode Island College. In addition to her role as a school psychologist, she is a mom to 2 children (Charlie and Thomas). Outside of school, Mrs. Long enjoys spending time with her family and friends, enjoying nature, running, and spending time on the water.
