Dear Dartmouth High School Families and Community,

Coming off the heels of last weekend’s massive storm, I am struck by the incredible power of a community working in sync. While 15 inches of snow (and a Pats Super Bowl trip) has the potential to bring our daily lives to a standstill, it also provides a clear window into the dedication of the people who keep our "One Dartmouth" spirit alive.

I want to take a moment to specifically recognize our maintenance, facilities, and custodial support staff. While many of us were hunkered down safely at home (or shoveling ourselves out of the mess), these individuals worked tirelessly for two straight days to dig out the high school.

We are truly lucky to have a team that takes such pride in the operations of our school. It is this essential part of our community that allows the rest of us to focus on our student body daily. These unsung heroes deserve our deepest gratitude.

Students and families, as you see staff members in the halls or on the grounds this week, please give them a heartfelt thank you. Their hard work ensures that, every single day, we can provide the best education and the safest environment possible for our students.
